| About Anmyeon Island Anmyeon Island is located about two hours thirty minutes from Seoul. Anmyeon Island is one of Korea's famous resort destinations in Korea. The island is around twenty five kilometers long by ten kilometers wide. Anmyeon Island offers a wide variety of budget hotels and pensions. Pensions range from 110,000 won a night and up. The local hotels are cheaper and range between 40,000 won to 100,000 won a night depending on the season and the standard of the motel. The island has fourteen bathing beaches and also has a national park. The park contains mostly pine trees. The west side of the island is famous for it's outstanding sunsets. There are many things to do on Anmyeondo which range from ATV riding and survival in the winter. Many of the beaches have Banana Boat and speed boat rides as well as kayaks that you can rent in the summer season. Ocean Castle Resort at Anmyeon Ocean Castle resort is located at Koiichi Beach. Ocean Spa Castle has both an indoor and out door spa. The spa is open all year round and uses sea water rich in sulphur that is pumped from an underground spring. As well as the outdoor spa they offer mud baths and other spa treatments including a massage service and a private spa room for groups. ATV and survival is also available next to the spa resort. Rooms are available in a pension style and start from 300,000 won. The rooms are a little expensive,but the rooms acommodate four people and up and there is also a swimming pool located on the site as well as the beach. Directions From Seoul Nambu Bus Terminal you can take a limousine bus to Taean and then a local bus to Anmyeon Island. There is another bus service from Nambu Bus terminal Seoul to Anmyeon Bus terminal. From there you can take a taxi the beaches on Anmyeon Island. |
